Maritime health professionals (Seafarers doctors, Maritime Occupational doctors, Underwater doctors, Ship Doctors, Maritime nurses ,Public health inspectors of Italian Port health services (USMAF), Ships’ public health officers , Medical Centers and underwater hyperbaric units involved in maritime medicine, Telemedical Assistance services , Medical and public health departments of shipping companies , Laboratories and consultant companies/ operators involved in maritime public health/ medicine activities, Shipbuilding companies and operators, Classification societies and professionals, Maritime schools, University centers involved in Maritime medicine/ public health research.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP:
ISMMPH has ordinary individual and supportive organisation membership.
Individual membership:
After registration, payment, and acceptance an ordinary member is in good standing and becomes a member of the General Assembly. after three years of membership. A member in good standing receives a certificate of membership, and a copy of the by-laws and “household rules” that are binding.
A member can leave the association by simple notification to the ISMMPH office although reimbursement of the fee for the current year is not possible.
The conditions of membership are set in the By-laws and the Household Rule on Membership. In case of violation of the conditions of membership, membership can be suspended or terminated by decision of the Board of directors and the General Assembly.
Supportive schools, university centers organisations companies membership:
Supportive membership is open to organizations, administrative authorities, shipping organizations, professional entities and private associations that have an interest in maritime medicine and public health . Supportive members are not part of the General Assembly and do not determine the policy of ISMMPH.
HOW TO BECOME MEMBER OF ISMMPH:
Individual Membership:
To become an ordinary member, send a request by mail to ISMMPH office.
Payment is possible only by bank transfer.
Prices of individual membership 2025:
€ 100 per year.
€ 50 per year for students, medical residents under 30, public health inspectors, nurses.
After payment a receipt is sent to the member.
The Board of Directors sovereignly decides over each membership application.
Every year the office invites the members in good standing to renew their membership.
Failure to pay cancels the membership by decision of the Board of directors.
Supportive Membership:
To become a supportive member, send a request by E-Mail to the ISMMPH office info@ismmph.com
Payment is possible on the registration form or by bank transfer.
Prices of individual membership 2025:
€ 500 per year.
€ 250 per year for university centers, maritime schools, public medical centers
After payment a receipt is sent to the supportive member.

Every year the office invites the supportive members to renew their membership.
